- Exceptionally sharp, this lens has one of the lowest distortion of all wide angle lenses in the market.

- The Distagon T* f/4-50 mm is used above all for landscape and architectural photography, photography of interiors and for press photography.
- This version of the lens has a single focusing ring, making it much easier and faster to use in the field than the CF FLE or CFi FLE versions.
