FABRIANO ARTISTICO TRADITIONAL WHITE SHEETS
For centuries, since 1264, Fabriano has been famous the world over for its production of exceptional papers for fine arts, printmaking and stationery.
As the oldest paper mill in Europe, Fabriano’s master papermakers count among their achievements the development of surface sizing to
protect paper and augment its archival characteristics, and the creation of the watermark, originally used as the artisanal
signature of the papermaker, now used to identify the mill and sheet.
Fabriano was the paper of Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Raphael, Durer and Goya.
Giving un-surpassed results with watercolor, this paper can be used for many other applications like Ink Jet printing, Pastels, Inks and oils (primer like Gesso recommended) with stunning results.
Mould-made of 100% cotton, double-sized, acid-free/neutral pH, chlorine-free with two deckle edges.
Traditional white shade uses no optical brighteners.
As with Artistico Extra White, it takes well to lifting and scraping without compromising quality.
Three watermarked surfaces: rough, cold press and hot press.
Suitable for all water media, printmaking, digital printing, charcoal and drawing.
